【游戏简介】
《横冲直撞》首代登场与1999年7月，当时凭借着出色的游戏引擎以及爽快的汽车追逐战而大获成功。可以说是该系列与《GTA》一起开创了当今最流行的游戏类型。
日前，Reflections公布了《横冲直撞》系列的最新作《横冲直撞 平行线（Driver: Parallel line）》（以下简称《平行线》）。据Reflections介绍，由于《横冲直撞3》过于繁琐的车外任务获得了玩家们不少的恶评，所以本次的《平行线》将回归原点，以车辆任务为主。Reflections表示，在游戏制作过程中将以游戏赖以成名的车辆驾驶感为重点，游戏过程中将有85%的内容需要玩家开车进行，而剩下的15%中也包括了下车换乘车辆的时间。
《平行线》的故事背景设定在1978年的曼哈顿，玩家将扮演一位有野心的黑社会司机，在游戏过程中将接触到毒品运送，犯罪以及黑帮势力地盘争夺等任务以提升自己的威望。游戏将以曼哈顿为大体的架构，并且加入许多原创的新建筑，居住在曼哈顿的玩家将体验到熟悉又陌生的游戏感觉。
本作中将有80种以上的汽车，除了日常可见的普通民用车辆以外，货车，18轮大卡车，摩托车，巴士，推土机，坦克都能够使用。而玩家获得这些车辆的方法与《GTA》类似，那就是偷窃。玩家可以把偷到的车辆放进车库，并且可以对外观，发动机等进行改造。《横冲直撞 平行线》对应平台为PS2\Xbox，预定于2006年3月14日发售，本作将以车内活动为主，想必能够给各位玩家一个不同于《GTA》的全新体验。
